So you dont recommend getting the VIP ticket? I'm looking into it as a gift and so far it seems like a lot more money for nothing.

It's good for F1 fan's but no a I don't recommend the VIP ticket. If the person you are buying for has done Sim Racing then I recommend that but other wise just get a standard ticket.
