Taking a diagonal line towards those tight dive bomb corners usually sees off any challenge, if anything they give you a little helpful nudge to get out of the corner quicker!

The pen system is off when you clearly cut a corner you get no pen but when you run just a little wide off the 2nd to last turn in Austin you get a corner cut. Codemasters need to work with FIA officials

Because history has shown us that they won't. There are plenty of issues that have been in the games since F1 2010 and everyone was saying how f1 2011/2012 would fix these problems and such. Then the games come out and everyone is disappointed again. This particular issue is rather difficult to find a reliable fix for because on one hand you want to punish the player responsible but you don't want to create a system in which people can exploit by forcing others to take penalties.
