The jump start is so damn GLORIOUS. Actually: I began watching F1 games videos with you, the "Under Pressure" series and all the alliteration titles you created. Plus Horsey, that's legendary, obviously. Then you took a break for Uni and after that I began following Ben, Matt and Harry, their Sprint Mode Championships, careers and other stuff, and then coming to the YT Championship. Seeing you here makes me very happy, it's like everything goes back to the beginning, and I really like it. About the pace, it will come, this can be like a very tough training, but who cares, when the fun I have is so great! Cheers from Italy :D

Scott, the explanation: you are allowed to cross the line *twice* before serving the drive through - and the start of the race (lap 0) counted as #1. Hence you only had two chances.

I think what happened in the supposed drive-through is that you sped in the pit-lane while trying to serve the penalty which ended with you taking a pit-stop as well. That happened to Ben in one of his online race videos.
