F1 Grand Prix Canada LEGO

Thanks to those who subscribe, it's really appreciated.
Before the new LEGO Movie titled The Billion Brick Race hit theater, I'm proud to present this F1 Grand Prix du Canada in LEGO. If you live in Montreal, you'll understand the construction joke! And if not, you'll understand that we have a lot of road under construction in Montreal LOL.
This LEGO brickfilm was commissioned by LaPresse+ and was publish on June 6th on their app, the same week-end as The Grand Prix of Montreal.
The blue toilet scene was not in the original release, I tough you might like it, so I've put it back.

Nice film, some of the visual jokes were really clever; I though the construction workers were quite funny. The animation of the checkered flag and hats being blown off of the bystanders really stood out. Though I have to say it would have been nice to have the cars follow an actual racing line. Good work. :)

I honestly love how you did this also with how nice and smooth this was but I forgot what the video was called but it had the same thing to do with two people (even though there was 3 In this video) combining there race cars together while a family with a trailer end up winning the race. did you have inspiration from that video or do you have no clue what I'm talking or you just felt like making a animation that deals with racing?

The stop motion film that you made is very interesting, the story telling is detailed with clever comedy inserts, such as repairing damaged roads, cars crashing until they are destroyed then the riders join and the cars that have been destroyed are transformed into completely new cars. that makes me have to watch this film to the end. because of my curiosity the final result of this film. l image est parfaite comme tout les films de ta production que j ai vu, la scene-piste de course est convainquante, t as utilise une autre surface que les plaques pour avoir plus large j imagines, les voitures sonts belles, leur mouvement est fluide, et me semble realiste. j aurait aime plus de drift, mais c est mes gouts, lol, les blagues etaient cool, bien aime! bravo!

Now that I look at your other videos I see you use a Canon T3. Would you recommend it even if I'm not very experienced at making brickfilms?

Accurate Stormtroopers If you're just getting started I would suggest to use whatever you have for a camera and focus on 1) keeping the camera perfectly still and 2) controlling the lighting to prevent flicker. If you can find a camera or app with onion-skinning that will help as well ro make your animations smooth. I mix between shooting with a Sony A5000 (using the Sony StopMotion+ camera app) and an iPhone 6 running an app called Lapse It.
