Maybe because the friendship between Seb and Holland is known by most fans. Verstappens dad was also friends with Schumachers dad. When it comes to F1 Germans and Dutch people are very friendly towards eachother. Before the Dutch GP it is where most Dutch fans went to watch live races, as they did in Belgium and Austria. During the Dutch GP Seb was shopping in the town of Zandvoort and talking to everybody like he was on holiday. It is no surprise he was rooting for Max, like Daniel and Alonso did also.
