Lewis is an amazing driver but curious how many rivalries he’s racked up in the fight for the constructors. Alonso wanted to setup the pecking order and Lewis refused to be number 2. With Rosberg the tables turned and it was Rosberg bringing the fight to Lewis in which is overcame his teammate and dipped. With Max it was the reigning 7x champ against a talent who had been priming for a title fight for years now. A scrappy underdog and a champ who fought and complained about a driver that essentially mirrored his early F1 career and a season brought to an end by inconsistent governing body. Makes you wonder what is that brings out such fight from Lewis’ competitors and why it seems to go downhill for the respective driver’s relationships

It's simple, Lewis is so fast and consistent that his rivals have to push their skills and the rules to the limit. Which inevitably boils over into an intense rivalry

@@dawnlawy389 They didn't really like each other until a few years later tbh. But yeah it wasn't really hatred between the two either. It was mostly Alonso VS Ron. Alonso even personally congratulated Lewis for his championships that followed after.

It's the same with Schumacher (Senna, Hill, Villeneuve, Häkkinen, Montoya, Alonso) Albeit the rivalry with Senna was quite short lived (no pun intended)

I never realized how naughty Sebastian Vettel was. Reminds me of how Max Verstappen acted when Daniel Ricciardo was his teammate. Both have grown significantly though. I'll just chalk it up to immaturity.

Multi 21 is a perfect representation of Vettel vs Webber. The only moments you remember of Mark Webber was when he got close to Vettel after being bested for the previous 8 races. Not even team orders could help that young Ace back, Vettel didn't have any plans to stay behind his inferior team mate.

0:45 - Webber said that he felt it didn't help him to go faster, Vettel wanted it. So when Webber's broke ofc RB was going to give the one new wing they had to the driver who actually felt it helped them. And you somehow forgot to mention the motivation for the 2013 flashpoint in Malaysia...

@SIXITHS3 жыл бұрын
@@nelayo4894 Brazil 2012 Vettel felt that Webber squeezed him towards the pit wall and cut him off at the first corner at the start of the race, despite Mark being out of the title race and his teammate. That led to Seb dropping back into the pack and getting spun to the back of the field. After that whatever working relationship they had was gone
