Don't mention him calling his Ferrari f10 and 12 perfect becuase he loved their style. Don't mention him blackmailing Dennis in 2007 so he could beat Lewis. Don't mention him winning 2005 because kimis tire exploded. Don't mention him staying at McLaren for money. It annoys me so much.

M T Scotsman are only “British” when they win something. Look at Andy Murray...he is described as Scot when he is not doing great, but British when he wins Wimbledon 👀. And if you ever listened to Coulthard’s interviews on Beyond the Grid and other media you’ll know that Coulthard himself said that Ron Dennis favoured Hakkinen. And here is a direct quote from Coulthard himself: “When I was at McLaren they blatantly favoured Hakkinen. There was a devastating occasion when I was on pole until Hakkinen beat me at the death. The jubilation in Ron and the others was distressing. It was like Hakkinen had just beaten their arch rival rather than their own driver. When I tried to talk about it I sounded like a little kid, complaining 'It's not fair' as if someone else had been given a bigger piece of chocolate. But you can't hide that hurt from yourself. Maybe I'm too sensitive." I am not saying that what Alonso fans say is true, but when you have backed and sponsored a young talent like Hamilton since he was 13, you would expect some sort of bias towards him. Coulthard never had the same luxury of being backed by Ron Dennis from a young age, so there was no bias towards him, hence why he favoured Hakkinen. He was faster and had been there for a longer time. Please do your research before you come out with statements like that, when you have people like his own teammate saying that the team favoured Hakkinen. Statements need to be backed up with evidence or else it’s just ignorance. P.S I am NOT an Alonso fan.

I just love how he call Schumacher " *THE* Michael" . He says that they were not friends but when your rival has this much respect for you, you don't need to be friend with him. Also , you can clearly notice with the tone of his voice that he was just having fun battling with Schumacher. What a legend.

Next to my parents and my education, this man has had the biggest impact on my life! A lot of things i've learned from watching this incredible one of kind human being. Such class and such driving skills. Twenty years ago was the last time i REALLY supported an F1-driver and everything in my life revolved around F1. Shouting and cheering to the TV. Oh the emotional rollercoaster >> how i miss it. Occasionally these days there are championships out there where you see amazing racing but they don't make rolemodels like they used to.

When Ron Dennis was asked who was the fastest driver who ever drove you, he didn't pick Prost, Senna, Hamilton or Lauda. Without Ron's usual contemplation of his answer he said straight away; "Hakkinen". Mika, you were stylish and clean (mostly!) in an age of hooligan driving, calm in a time of media hysteria, loyal in a cut-throat business plus the fastest and best driver of your time. What a champion.

Oh my how i loved the days when Mika fought with Michael - amazing era and perfect and fair racing. As a Michael and Ferrari supporter i still remember the McLaren pitcrew looking like darth vader and Mika's back then wife Erja looked like a russian bond villain. Core memories of a time when everything was better... The V10's, the cars, the sport in general - still a bit niche, only for the die hards and the italians and germans ;-). I was 12 in 1999 when michael had his accident, my best friend from childhood said - and we were the only kids in the area watching F1 back in the day - "next year, trust me.. next year he will win". He would end up being right, i never saw him again because i moved to another place. If I ever meet him again, I will tell him "you were right. thank you."

He's a cunning and thoughtful person as a whole. Being able to present his apperance as not only a brilliant F1 legend, he's also appear as a very intelligent person, which was confirmed in his appearance in Schumacher's Greatest Rival. All in all, I now admire him very much. Wish I can learn from him about life beyond the racing line.

I only like the podcast when they about Michael Schumacher because I just love to hear the stories they share. Happy that Mika finally has a chat. He’s another person I really loved in F1 just behind Michael. I never truly got angry when he beat Schumacher because I liked them both. Top bloke and a great legend and a great adversary to Michael. I had a lot of joy watching the 2 battle it out over their years together. 🏁🏎🏆❤️

Hakkinen was a true sportsman. Not like cheater Schumacher. 1994,1997,2006 show how big cheater Schumacher was.

Alexis Tsimplas Yeah yeah let’s always bring up Schumacher’s dirty moments and forget about what other drivers have done in the past and just hate Schumacher forever and ever. Get over yourself!

Alexis Tsimplas Sooooo! He did some silly stuff here and there but that doesn’t mean it will define the rest of the mans career. You haters make out it’s every year, every lap, and every race. The amount of incredible races Michael had far outweighs the bad. He still earn his place amount the greats. Schumacher wasn’t there to make friends or please you people. If you only watched F1 because your were looking for a gentleman than your watching the wrong sport.

Mika is the coolest. I started following F1 during the latter half of his last season in F1, but I really wish I would've started earlier to see him and Schumacher really go at it.

What a fairplay by Häkkinen when talking of Schumacher's dirty playing as well as when telling of Coulthard's unfair behaviours.
