Bruh, R-73 is shit outside of 1km. I've had them go for 1 singular flare more times at >1km than a 9L ever does. And at least a 9L can ignore flares even at >2km while the R-73 does not. The 9M thoo, yep total bullshit. Should've never been added like it is now...

"getting in to planes", why do you need to know his keybinds for that? unless you are planning on buying a top tier premium with radar missiles and such. Personally I use CTRL + [Key] for radar stuff but you should find out what fits you best.

Ok I May be wrong but this is just a theory. At 1:59 when Malzi was trying to dodge a Missile. Malzi banks towards his left to get the Missile fully behind him and once he does that he drops flares. Since the Missile is fully behind him it will be hard for the Missile to track him because the flares are in the way , now all he had to do was either in whatever direction to get out of danger ( 2:04 ). At 3:04 Malzi didn’t fully get into Missile behind him and that’s why he died. This might help or maybe not if it does plz leave a like.

I may be wrong please correct me if so but, when the missile was launched it already had a lead to Malzi. Malzi flared but he banked into the missile and since the missile already had a lead to him, the missile just ignored the flares and killed him. From what I've heard from others is to flare and bank away from the missile in which this case should be left. I'm not an expert on missiles nor top tier missiles I only just reached 9.3 a few hours ago the grind never ends.

Though I don’t usually play it I believe the B is probably the best plane in the game. Great performance and a ton of missiles. And they are good missiles too. Still waiting for actual bombers to show up at top tier though for those phoenixes. The whole idea being that a regular missile might not be enough to take a bomber down. But the Phoenix is so massive it guaranteed to shoot down a bomber. And designed specifically for it.

well, in one on one, f14b would be decent, but now the best, f16a block 10 would simply rekt it again and again, and it's missiles aren't really competitive in the top tier rn as well, yes bunch of missiles does help but they aren't really good honestly, compare to r73 and r27er

Those top IR missiles cannot be flared when they see your rear or side. You need to turn head on and flare. Front aspect is more difficult for them to see than side or rear aspect

What is that red square when you target enemy planes? I thought it's for AGMs (like -65s)?

it's the camera that the F14 has. If you radar lock something and the plane is in sight for the camera, then you will get square as well. if the camera locks, it also shows how much you need to lead your target (usually only possible through IR-lock or radar-lock). You can also custom-keybind the camera
