Just installed them, I opted to wire them to one of my upfitter switches, they look good BUT they didn't stick worth a damn (yes I used the alcohol prep), it is kind of funny that you comment how strong the adhesive is because it is anything but strong. I'm wrestling with the silicone to get them to stay in the right place now. Rigged some wire together to get them to hold in place and hopefully once they are I will re-silicone so they hopefully will stay in place for the long haul. Like I said the up side is I do like the look, time will tell if they actually stay in place.

I WAS GOING TO BUY THESE TILL I CHECKED HOW THE INSTALLATION WOULD GO ON MY 2017 DIESEL AND YOU CANNOT GET IN THERE. YOU SHOULD DO AN ONLINE INSTALLATION FOR THESE DIESEL WITH LED FACTORY LIGHT AND I ALSO DON'T WANT TO WASTE AN UPFITTER SWITCH FOR THESE. DOING AN ONLINE INSTALLATION WILL BOOST YOUR SALES, I FOR ONE WON'T PURCHASE THIS WITHOUT SEEING IT DONE ON LINE.

Thank you for your comment and suggestion! You are correct that you can use an AUX switch for power, but you can also remove a battery to gain access to your headlight assembly if you prefer. We have wiring information on our website and can also provide it if you need different wire colors than what the video shows. I was able to do mine I had to snake it down but was able to work the snake down and grab ahold and they look amazing thank you

This isn’t helpful for new diesel trucks with OEM LED headlights. For the life of me, I can’t find the light connector that I’m supposed to be splicing into. Customer service is no help either, they just direct me to their online instructions which don’t actually show where that connector is located!

Hey dimplez dimples, thanks for your support! What year/model truck are you installing on? The headlight connector is located directly behind the headlight assembly. We cant say for sure without knowing your exact truck but that is typically accessible via the engine bay behind the grill or through the wheel well liner. What about the layer of insulation behind the emblem

@@stevenrouse6829 you mean the piece of felt that's in there, right? I just routed the wires around it, no problem. I pulled it out first when I fished the wires thru but was no issue getting it back in there.

@@stevenrouse6829 any idea what that insulation is for? My drill hit it on the drivers side, I wasn't expecting that but eventually just worked around it. Seems like an odd place for insulation that will likely end up just being a wet muddy mess in the long run.
