F1A-94 Procharged ZL1 & F1A Procharged Camaro SS | RPM S7 E3

On Today's Episode of the RPM Web Series, we put a 2018 ZL1 that received our Stage 5 package with an F1A-94 Procharger on the dyno. We also dyno tune the 2012 Camaro SS with a 418ci Texas Speed engine and an F1A Procharger.

2 questions for you Fran.. I live in Boise, ID., 3000 ft elevation. 1. if I had you install a 3 disc clutch, will the clutch pedal be much harder to push? 2. If you tuned it, would the tune change that much when I get the car home? Thanks (I know the power will be down, but will I need have to have it returned locally) It's a 57 Chevy, sm blk 427, supercharger. Holley electronic box. It could be going to SEMA.

The 2012 ss is mine. The fog lights are Oracle halo kit. The actual headlights are stock with tint on the lens

How much boost was that 418ci Camaro making? I’m shocked the same blower on an LT4 made 150whp more than the 418.

Also sounded like he said the white one had 4.5 inch pulley blue zl1 had 4 inch pulley , and white ss has 40 more cubic inches to pressurize. Zl1 has f1 a94 White ss has f1 a.

Is there a reason for always stopping at 55% on E85 instead of going to 70%+ ethanol content?

E55 makes the same power as e85 without the massive toll on your fuel system to run full e85

Junior Hollis that’s very interesting as I’m running full E85 and I don’t see peak gains until 70%+ on my STi. But maybe the LT1 platform doesn’t need that much E85 for peak power gains and the fueling needed isn’t worth it.

I've been meaning to tell you that your dB meter lies. Everything registers 115 plus or minus 1. As previous poster mentioned the dB meter in Cletus McFarland's shop registered 124 in one video I watched. That is a lot more reasonable for a V8 with open exhaust. Their unit also looks like it is commercial grade, undoubtedly much more expensive. I can also tell you that you should be wearing ear protection for 90+% of the cars you dyno. Sustained exposure over 86 dB will cause hearing loss, I know from first hand experience.
