i think so yeah, post dubstep or just "sounds-like-burial" it does overlap with chillstep though imo this is darker and covers a lot wider bpm

Yeah, after Dubstep achieved maturity, artists from the UK who wanted to make something future forward, would be encompassed by the Dubstep scene at the time. Artists were also making a conscious effort to separate themselves, and this is where terms like 'post-dubstep' came around. Later with more refinement, the future garage scene was born (named by whistla), taking on the dark aesthetics of burial's music.
