As I don't actually attend very often, it was a pleasure to see you all in the flesh as it were on Saturday night and thanks for taking the time to explain what was going on, it was clearly frustrating. You were busy all night and it was brilliant to see Jake get a good place in the GN after all the efforts, but to be fair he was well on the pace in his Heat and Consi with neat and tidy driving until his clutch went. Certainly wasn't giving Jack France any quarter. Nice to see the ever helpful Mark Gilbank on hand to give advice. The hard work does not go unnoticed and Jake clearly has the talent, so the results will come.

Thankyou again Nige and Jake for coming along to our RC club on Friday night in Rugby. It was a pleasure to have you both there and I hope we can get you back next year for our shootout series again. Might have to get you racing next time around!!!

thanks for putting the video up, superb as usual. a testament to what it takes to be in the sport of brisca f1, all the time and money involved, and frustration when it doesnt go well. its a pity other teams dont do any of this vlogging, to show us how they get on behind the scenes.

Another good honest vlog Nigel , the effort you both put in week in week out between work is unbelievable so you can get out on track. Not many meetings left this season, let's hope next season is easier for you both. Was the new engine you sent back OK then just fluid in the exhaust system. Well done jake and team for getting results at kings lynne despite clutch problems.

Do you guys have carbs set up for each engine?
@NigelHarrhy2 жыл бұрын
Yes, each has there own carb.
@callumdurham77772 жыл бұрын
Why don't you build the other two engines yourselves same spec as your tarmac engine that you built yourselves,it's going well and getting results and its reliable? Good luck with the racing.
@NigelHarrhy2 жыл бұрын
Yes we have built it the same, but not dynoed it with that carb as we are always rushing to get out for the next meeting.
@callumdurham77772 жыл бұрын
@@NigelHarrhy over winter rebuild the engines yourselves and get them rolling rd in the cars,then you know all the setups are running right,timing,carbs,firing order,engines are better on a rolling rd under the load of the car as its running all your own bits. That's the problem when you are rushing to get out for the next meeting nothing is really tested till on the day of racing and unfortunately that's where the bad luck comes in. Hope you get sorted love your vlogs, i like to watch you both racing father and son team, your like me i would rather watch my son racing to.
@NigelHarrhy2 жыл бұрын
@@callumdurham7777 You cant dyno the engine in the car. The engine sits in a dyno room, we can put the car on a rolling rd to 1000hp, but it wont dyno the engine. 🙂👍
