Jon, I would recommend having a controller with paddles on the back. I know it's expensive but it really improves your in game performance. For fast kick offs the paddles really help. Hope this helps!!!

Some Tips: (sorry i didn't get any examples) You should probably work on you're first touch's they are very important in 1's and 2's, and yes i know this if a 3's match but you play 2's often with rob. Also you should work on you're arial directions, like when the ball is directly above you, you need to aim the car on a certain angle so you can direct the ball to the preferred angle. And lastly its obvious that you need to work on you're double jumps.

what I find funny is that the lower the ping the better the connection for example my ping is always at a steady 30 which is a perfect green bar, but whenever I play against ppl from American they blame me for lag even though their ping is over 150 and always switching between 1-2 bars

Jon I have an idea for a rocket league video. It is kind of like football. It is team of 2 with one of the teammates on each side. The 'Quarterback' has to pass it down field and the other teammates has to redirect it into the goal while they try to defend. I think it is a good way to practice redirects and passing
