Well, according to the internets F250 springs are a bolt in for the F100 and offer a budget lift. We'll be the judge of that! I ordered a new set of coil springs for the front for our 1985 Ford F100 along with a heater core, LED headlights, budget tailgate latches, shocks, repair the cracked crossmember and even a headliner replacement! This pickup has been SOLD!!! As always, thanks for watching!

ooooh! I had an 87 F-150 W 250 REAR END. 351W 4bbl. 4WD. My first Ford. Climbed like a billy goat, bone stock everything else. What a BEASTY!! I remember loading the boiler, slant fin, and all the plumbing copper for a 2600 sq ft new home that I was working on. Homeowner put himself through college as an apprentice plumber to his uncle so he got it all for cost, but asked me if I could get it from 50 miles away. Had to be close to a ton and it barely leveled out the bed, no Carolina sag at all!! 11.5 mpg fully loaded, empty, uphill, downhill, still 11.5 mpg Loved that thing. It got stolen and wrecked, I almost cried. Had 6-7 Fords since then, damn thing got me addicted!!!! Love it, and love what you do Mortske!!!

You can get adjustable castor/camber bushing for the center pivots and adjustable or fixed degree bushings for the upper ball joints on the TTB front ends. To do a 4 or 6 inch lift you gotta drop the center pivots too... those lofts come with the drop brackets.

When lifting one of these rigs 4-6 inches there are brackets that lower the center pivot point of the I-beams. These trucks have a sleeve that is pressed into the upper steering knuckle area of the I-beams, the mounting stud for the upper ball joint passes through said sleeve. There are adjustable aftermarket sleeves that are oblong (you remove the stock sleeve and replace) that allow a few degrees of adjustment in the ball joint to correct the camber. There is a small amount of adjustability in the stock sleeves to allow for factory alignment when everything isn't sacked completely out.

It has camber bushings on the upper ball joints. I've lifted 3 of them. The kits come with drop brackets for the axles and different/ longer radius arms with drop brackets which has a new transmission cross member to tie the new radius arm brackets together. Don't forget the drop pitman arm, new rear leaf springs and longer brake lines. A 4 inch works well with 35s.
