Much easier to do that on artificial turf than real grass pitch. This shows one of the hardest things for me to get used to on a turf pitch is the way the ball grabs on the surface when spinning. I can't count the number of times I misjudged a ball that bounced off the pitch and went in the opposite direction then I expected when switching after years of playing on grass.
