For anyone wondering if 1500 gems is a fair price, heres the math: Book of heroes costs 500 gems and 1030 cookie medals so 1 gem is worth around 2 cookie medals The equipment costs 3.1k cookie medals so 1550 gems should be the ideal price. If they priced it at 1k gems it would actually be better to just buy books with the cookie medals and wait to buy the equipment with gems later on. Players who bought the equipment during the event shouldn't be penalized.

I have always been a gem miner and kept them around 10,000 while buying 1500gem hero skins when i get more Collect from the maxed out mine on builder base, clean up trees and rocks that appear in your bases, collect the gems from events by selling all magic items except book heros until you have heros maxed. But especially sell all the potions. I have my potions all maxed and sell any extras I get - only used potions like 20x my entire game play, mostly green potion to make troops faster to get all my legend attacks in at season end

The most easy to ger gems is buy resources from raid medals and sell them in to gems easy

You can get 740 gems per month if all you do is sell your CWL medals and capital raid medals (300 CWL medals/mo = 300 gems 600 medals/week = 60 gems and another 600 for 2 wall ring packs = 50 gems which would make 110/week x4 = 440 per month) hence 300+440 = 740.. which would come at 8880 gems per year.. and that's just from these 2, if you do other ones as well you can easily be making more than 1k gems per month, and if you go hardcore you can even get about 2k gems per month.. After watching this video, I opened my clash account and converted 1200 raid medals to gems and 624 CWL medals and sold some additional magic items, and I went from 950-ish gems to 2032 gems in just a few minutes.
