F2P: faster xp/hr, use the 3rd method, but add in a chronical teleport (get in drayner from deiago) to go to iron ore faster. Non UIM should bank the bars after teleporting to falley, and then use at a later time in varraock anvils. F2P: both uim or non uim can make some good money by superheating addy bars next to the wizzard tower, then either bank (non UIM) or use the little known draynor sewer anvil close by. make some armor, and high alch on ur way back to the addy ore spot next to wizzard tower. man i should really make some f2p guides....

I've been mining through the miner's guild entrance in Falador and banking all my ores in the nearby bank. Then tele porting to Varrok to smith the bars into sellable stuff. I've noticed nails hold value pretty well. Saves a lot of time. I only got 58 smithing right now though. After mining everything myself I am just tempted to buy some ore now. haha

making unstrung symbols by mining at champ guild mine, then taking canoe to edgeville furnace and selling to general store (5 per world) is a good moneymaker for f2p uims. similar exp rates.

The issue is iron mining and smithing maintains itself as the highest xp/h methods which is sad, I kind of wanted to progress to steel then mithril etc etc rather than spending an entire month playing 8 hours a day just to level up mining and smithing the fastest.

I haven't, and didn't know about it until now! I guess it could be worth it if you're grinding out ogresses and get a lot of noted rubies. I'm not a f2p uim myself but maybe I could make a video on it?

Just collect 4 rubies at 1 trip, they are not noted. They also drop nature runes and law runes😁 recommend stats are 40 mining, 34 crafting for the ruby rings or 43 crafting if you want to cut all your gems, 52 (wizard mind bomb) or 55 magic to alch your rune items and 33 smithing for iron platebodies. I also highly recommend completing dragon slayer because the regular ogresses area can be packed and the resources area has always free spots. If you need 52 or 55 magic just train your magic at ogresses, you will make good money to buy more runes. If you have 52 or 55 magic, just switch back to ranged (start from 40) For the smithing part just mine your ores with the chronicle teleport method and smelt at the Falador furnace. Smith the iron plates at Dorics anvil😄 maybe you will get an f2p uim in the future you never know😉

damn I didn't know they didn't come noted haha, thought I read that on a post. seems tedious but I guess if you're grinding ogresses anyways and wanna do smithing in between trips, cool!

Yes but if you play an second account or watch some serie or something else while grinding its easy😁 use it as an side project it makes it less grindy😊 1 trip doesn't take that long because they drop rubies pretty often😄 the smithing and smelting goes pretty quick 2😃
