My idea of heaven: living in the Lake District surrounded by the glorious fells and mountains, my own flock of Herdwick sheep, and the blazing sound of fighter jets screaming past. Doesn't get much better than that. I currently live near an airbase, but the jets can't fly as low as this in our area. We get an occasional window-rattling though !! Thanks for sharing 😃

You will, because it's a regular low level flight training area for both the RAF and the US Air Force.......

You know, it's not pretty but I REALLY Like the look of the F35. It genuinely looks like a next gen fighter. Granted, the C variant is the most handsome.

Thank you for sharing this, it’s fandabydozy and no mistake. Never mind the visual beauty of the area, or the awe inspiring, cacophonous sound they make, or the look of these planes. What about the skill of the pilots? Their lightening fast reflexes, split second decision making skills, ability to plan manoeuvres on the fly? I think given that it is Armistice Day today, we should give these young men and women, the respect they deserve, as they risk life and limb. To those that have gone before as well. My late wives family are related to the Nottingham born, WWI flying ace Albert Ball. My friends Dad, was a navigator on a Wellington Bomber, which pancaked on the runway, in early ‘45, a few months before VE Day. Please tell your kids and grandchildren about what Poppy Day is all about, lest we forget.

Ok that is impressive stealth. I don’t know how the engineers did it, but the fact that you can not hear the f35 until it is going past insane. 😳

Was this a training session? The jocks seemed to be pushing the joystick a bit. The RAF will be hearing from ranchers and farmers for any human and livestock nervous system issues, especially miscarries. At least they didn't hit Mach 1 and break the sound barrier and any windows nearby.

Hi, it's a sometimes daily occurrence that happens year round and is low level training from both the RAF and USAF. From what I've seen the sheep don't seem to bat an eyelid. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
@Brian-om2hh Жыл бұрын
The RAF and US Air Force have been low level flight training in the Lakes for years Stan. It isn't a spontaneous thing, with the pilots deciding to have some fun. It's planned, structured and organised....and takes place fairly regularly.

I really like the wider shots that let you see the plane within the landscape and not just a blur. Looked a little hazy, perhaps a little more playing around with your video editor might knock that down a bit -- maybe a little levels/curves.
@D.P.R.Images Жыл бұрын
Thanks for the advice, editing isn't a great skill of mine as you can see! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment.
@Raptorman0909 Жыл бұрын
@@D.P.R.Images No problem.. I'd play around with your editor, playing with exposure and then relative exposure that boosts or cuts one portion of the range. If you have a control called "curves" or "levels" that can make a big difference. And if you still aren't getting what you like just look on KZbin for videos that provide guidance. Many editors use LUTS, canned adjustments, but unless it suits your video you're usually better off playing around the the various exposure adjustment tools -- once you get the hang of it its not to bad at all...

This is exactly why you shouldn't fly a drone in the Lake District....... It is banned anyway on National Trust owned or managed land. Which amounts to around 140,000 acres of the Lakes, along with almost 90 hill farms. You cause one of these boys to come down, and you'll be in deeper than you could ever imagine......
