Taiwan will always be in the high spot it has always been, but Thailand also made a spot for their own. I love both versions the most although the others are great too. MG 2001 and F4 Thailand was just spot on the feels and execution the most for me.

I don't know why, but tbh when I watched F4 Thailand, I feel like I'm rewatching F4 Taiwan (MG 2001) all over again, but in different language.😍 There are so many things that makes the Thailand version totally feel like the remake version of MG 2001 (Taiwan version) for me. 😍😍 My opinion.

@@t.7823 Ikr! I mean MG 2018 was meant to be the remake for the Taiwanese Meteor Garden, but F4 Thailand nailed it more in my opinion. I honestly can't believe I underestimated Taiwan and Thailand at first (I first thought Taiwan was cringe and Thailand was dark based on their teasers, but when I got to watch them, I fell in love just with the intro song.) MG 2001 was the most iconic while Thailand had the best writing. They are both unique and I love them both, but I was really reminded of Taiwan from the Thai version more than the Chinese one. Ren was really like Vic Zhou (OG Hua Zi lei) even in real life!

@@Plutomoon79 Both are good tho. The Taiwanese one was the most impactful version, and without them, Hana Yori Dango won't be the most iconic shoujo/asian novela. I got into Meteor Garden because of them even if I saw the remake from 2018 first (only bc of Shen Yue, tbh). However, the Thai version blew me away with the great writing and chemistry from the leads too. I had high expectations before because of MG 2001 and they are the only other version that met and even exceeded it XD. I'm not saying MG 2001 is replaced tho... It will always be the most iconic version and they have a special place in my heart; they have something no version can duplicate even if part of me liking the Thai one was because they reminded me of the OG version (the Thai version on the other hand gave respect to its predecessors and valued the story and not just faces for their adaptation while giving a more modern flavor). The original will always be on the top-tier spot and the best version in its own right, but that doesn't mean the Thai version can't join them as top-tier. I like both to be honest. When I hear "F4" the original was the one coming to my mind (it's nice for Thailand to acknowledge this and labeled their verison of F4 as F4:Thailand, lol). I'm honestly glad we're discussing the best version with THESE TWO on the line. I'm fine with either one being the best in other's opinions. Aside from the Japanese one (which I have yet to watch), I really think the Korean and Chinese versions (the story, not entirely everything I mean..) were overrated in my opinion. My opinion only tho. I respect yours too.

There is also the original 1995, Japan. It was filmed the very first, even before the anime. I would like to somehow look at them in such collections, because they are constantly forgotten Anyway, my favorite version is the 2005 Japanese version. It's very realistic, and there are few comedic moments, and Domyoji is really scary there. It was exciting to watch it was exciting to watch him gradually change for his girlfriend, their chemistry was real as they were really in love in life. Also his F4 best friend was played by his real life best friend. So if you missed this version, be sure to check it out. p.s I apologize for any mistakes, written through a translator

Me he visto todas las versiones y la corena fue la primera que vi, pero me enamore de Hana Yori dando que tremenda química que tuvieron Matsumoto Jun 💜 y Mao Inoe tanto es así que al día de hoy los siguen relacionando y esperando que se casen, además que que Matsumoto y Oguri Shun quien hace el papel Rui(Jihoo) son mejores amigos en la vida real y verlos interactuar me dan años de vida. Y ni que decir del final no solo nos dieron una boda, con su final yo me emocione más que Domyoji cuando se entero. Oh my gosh! I love your other F4 MV but I wished you had included there the Taiwanese and Japanese version, so thank you for this!!! Not only did F4 Thailand improved their version, but they also gave tribute to those before them so I'm really saying that they earned my heart just as much the Taiwanese version did (whom I love and I had so high expectations on other versions because of it before, lol). I also love how the song fits because BOF/HYD/MG is so legendary, after 20 years, we are still getting it and it was never a bore because it's just as exciting as 20 years ago. Though I tend to compare the execution of the plot, I love all versions and cast for the F4 and they're all unique in their own way. Thank you for this!

Japanese drama version had the best soundtrack out of the different versions. The storyline and character description is as close to the original manga. Now, I’m waiting for other countries to pick up hana kimi . Japanese movie version- because it’s an old movie, i can’t really appreciate it as much. Taiwan version- it’s like watching a comic , cut by parts. But the very first one i got hooked on Korean version- the actors look too old . Never liked it and never watched it again. Chinese version- too many fillers which is not included in the manga. Thai version- the other characters aren’t noticeable at all, it seems like they are a backdrop.

The Korean boys have the best looks of all the " F4" I've watched all versions of the Manga Series by Yoko Kamio and the Korean represents the best "F4" in East Asia LOL! They don't have to wear bling-bling or mink coats to look like the sons of the billionaires/millionaires of the country. They all look from a rich/prominent family especially Junpyo (Lee Min Ho) the leader of the pack. The places, the dresses, the swag, their hobbies, and the looks! The total package of being F4! Who can beat that? Plot: Poor girl attends an elite school, where she's bullied by the leader of “F4” (the four richest and most gorgeous boys). becomes attracted to her, however, she has a crush on his best friend’s leader. This is a Cinderella story about powerful friends and the normal girl who manages to break into their cliques and win their friendship along with the romantic affection of two of the four and eventually chooses the leader of the group. What a story indeed! Every version has its twist, it's up to the viewer what their preference is. Mine is the "Boys Over Flowers F4" Korean version. It stays in my heart forever! Classic, masterpiece, legendary, epic, and gold!

This reminds me of playful kiss (kdrama) and mischievous kiss (japanese drama). They are both same plot but different languages. I don't know if other countries has made their own version of it though. Both are sooo much amazing
