You are quite the engineer, Sir. You were able to make that head over 4 times sharper than its original form. Wow. I was one of the persons who queried about a Tooth of the Arrow sharpener. Thank you for the fine work you do.

I shoot the TOTA XL Solid 125gr heads. I bought their sharpener and wasn't too impressed. This sharper you have invented definitely meets all that I was hoping for! I see in this video description it says this product is available July 18th, 2022 but what is the price? Awesome job on this! Thank you!! Take care and God bless. -Love from NH

I just received my new F4 kit - thank you - but I have question about last steps of removing burr with the fine grits. I saw that you do alternating back-and-forth strokes to break the micro-burr. But wouldn’t you achieve the same result by only pushing the broadhead forward during regular sharpening strokes (i.e., by not pulling it backwards)?
@frankkalisz7455 Жыл бұрын
P.S. - Thank you for the awesome videos!
@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 Жыл бұрын
buffing MUST be done with a backwards only stroke as explained in detail in the video.

Could you use a piece of arrow to hold the head during sharpening? Might be quicker n safer not putting the head in and out of the jig many times?

You can but make it a VERY short piece or you will find that you pump / pivot the head during front to back motion.

Do you recommend using the diamond plates dry? How do you prefer to clean them of old metal shavings?
@innovativeoutdoorsman50672 жыл бұрын
yes as shown in the video. You can clean the plates with compressed air, a old tooth brush and even tape to pull up what gets trapped.

awesome. one quick question, for in the field touch up, do you just stop to repair the edge from putting a broadhead in and out of quiver?
@innovativeoutdoorsman50672 жыл бұрын
yes, that is a good thing to do through the season as quiver dulling is very real if you still use a foam hood quiver.

Ok, what happens if I use this one for a Slick Trick 100 magnum? Should create very good results but able to sharpen two bevels at the same time, thus faster than your original Slick Trick sharpener... Yes?
@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 Жыл бұрын
you would be disappointed. The F4 is ONLY for tooth of the arrow heads.
@rickyanke9407 Жыл бұрын
@@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 I'm curious though... the only thing that could really happen is the original bevel degree would be slightly different, right? It would still be sharp.
@innovativeoutdoorsman5067 Жыл бұрын
@@rickyanke9407 Nope. It would leave an unsharpened portion near the tip because the ferrule for the Tooth of The Arrow head has a wide ferrule before the blades begin so the diamonds are space apart to account for that. Slick tricks dont have that so the head would float side to side with so much room The replaceable blade guide is the far superior option.

I truly don't believe 678 was out of box sharpness. My broadheads bought were rather sharp. Other reviews say the same. They are not super sharp but I believe this was exaggerated.
@TheRedHandOfVictory2 жыл бұрын
I have the same broadheads and the same sharpness tester. Due to the four blade design and angle of the blades it is extremely difficult to test the sharpness and not hit the side of the filament holder. I feel mine were sharper than that out of the box but I do believe his test was genuine.
