Just under 4 miles, so it's about a 15-16 MPH average speed. When I lived out in the country, on my best days I could average 24-25 MPH for 14 miles, because there were no stops. But here in town, with traffic lights and stop signs.... it's not so fast. But 15 minutes is about the same time as if I drive to school, so I'm happy.

Thanks! Sorry about the rolling stops, it's a real bother to fully stop due to clipped-in feet and slots for my feet to drop through. I'm very careful when I don't fully stop, ie, if there's other traffic around, I do stop. Commentary: I'm usually working *hard* in that thing, and not much breath left for talking. :)

How much faster it is compared to a conventional bicycle? And how do you find this machine compared to your current velombile? Which downsides it has. Thanks! I think it is a very interesting recumbent.

I suppose it's possible, but I like the excercise - and I'm too cheap. :)
