PSA: depending on how drunk you are, you should take a cool/cold shower/bath. Most showers are equipped with handles but try not to put your full weight as they may be old. I believe it’s in the “ASMR” category because people listen to it to fall asleep, but personally I don’t believe it’s ASMR either. It’s more of a roleplay audio, but “girlfriend asmr” is what gets clicks because it is already a big existing category on KZbin. Just to differentiate, traditional ASMR is the brushing and whispering created by asmrtists whereas this roleplay stuff is almost always paired with girlfriend or whatever title and the creators are referenced as “VAs” and not asmrtists. There is a distinct difference in the content, but the typical utilization of both traditional and girlfriend asmr is the same, which is probably why it’s been categorized as such from the get go (just spitballing, I’ve only been doing girlfriend asmr for a couple of months and it’s just what I’ve seen.)
