Good audio. I want to read the book about the caterpillar with a jet pack eating the big croissant in the sky. It sounds like a fun book. Serious talk now. It sounds like the character is bargaining to get the phone (or whatever it is). All the stuff you were saying, is what I have felt trying to break a bad habit. It does take a lot of effort to do it. And then, depending on what type of habit it is, you need to stay vigilant or on guard to stick to your plans or idea. Thanks for the audio…. It hit really close to home.

God, as someone with OCD I know how hard it can be to break unhealthy habits. You want to improve yourself but at the same time that bad habit brings you security and routine, and that is hard to give up. Getting support from loved ones and people close to you is a great way to help you improve yourself because they can remind you what you’re aiming for and keep you from reverting to old habits. She took the right approach in asking her partner to help her break that habit, cause while they may trust her they know she can’t really trust herself when it comes to her phone.
