@lollaar8083 I used a similar audio by BumbleDee (Falling Asleep in Mommy's Lap, if you must know) on my last Leg day- and I'd say it was actually helpful having someone praise me while I'm pushing past a sticking point on Squat or Leg Press. "You're doing such a good job" and "It's OK, Mommy's here" were reassuring, and the "Shhh... just relaxxxx..." was so funny (juxtaposition while straining very hard). Also sounds especially good when taking a rest. 9/10 would do again- not 10 because you can come to depend on it if you do it long enough- what if your headphones break? Where's the motivation? Or maybe that's just me, idk. Highly recommended for all of Mommy's stwong bois. Try it and get back to me, I'd like to hear your thoughts.

You can get dependant on them and end up jacked and craving "Mommy", which is not where you want to be. I suggest NOT listening to heavy music- instead, listen to dance, EDM, or KPop (Kpop works well for me)- anything that makes you dance in between sets. Not headbang. Sounds a lil wishy washy but you want to connect music that makes you feel good with something you already enjoy to boost the enjoyment you get from pushing some heavy-ass weight. Work out to be happy with what you see in the mirror, not for the validation of others, or the idea that "muscles get you girls therefore I MUST be jacked"- instead, "muscles help, but they aren't everything." Social skills are important too! Praise the small wins ("Damn, I'm seeing progress!! Feels great!"), don't always look for more in a negative way (though it is always good to push yourself to do your best- what I mean by this is not to say "I only look good with a pump" or "Damn, I look like shit- *I should've pushed harder* "- this will fuck you up and make you feel like you never are doing enough, not to mention the possibility of injury). No strain, no gain. Pushing through pain is insanely stupid. Confidence is what I'm going to the gym for, this confidence is still flawed because I'm working out to be more confident to talk to women. This was a lot, but I really hope it helps you and anyone else!
