He said 30 to 40 dates not matches Bryan. Each date doesnt necessarily mean hes gonna be wrestling. Some of those dates will likely just be build for a big match. Id assume if he does 40 dates, he'd probably wrestle on half if not less than half of them.

Oh stop it with the WWE hate Dave. Yes, Ric Flair won more 'world titles' than 16 but that was a carry over narrative from WCW. WWE didn't create it, they just kept it going because it wouldn't make sense to make however many world title reigns just appear out of thin air.

He said it will be 30-40 dates. The confusion is he said Wrestlemania will be his last mania. He also said its Jan-Dec. He didnt clarify what he'll be doing on those dates.

Damien Priest is growing on me. I feel this story where he keeps trying to win clean but someone always interferes on his behalf is a slow burn face turn. I felt bad for him and I wanna see him beat someone, it’s working. They’ll probably ignore it but could even play into the ref not counting right as him feeling like he’s not proving himself. I feel he might get past Gunther but even if he doesn’t I think he’s coming out of it sympathetic.

In the background, Cena committing to this long of a time period should show everyone how things are going in Hollywood. While he can certainly get work, there are less projects lately (everyone I know in the biz is out of work) and Cena is wisely retreating into wrestling while the other industry figures things out.
