You can now use TRAX instruments to make sample packs
It's with great pride we announce that effective from June 1, 2023, all F9 playable instruments and kits have been granted license for usage in the development of audio loops. These loops can be included in commercial sample packs designed for your personal use, your individual sampler store, or for third-party platforms such as Loopcloud, Splice, Arcade, NI sounds and more. There's only one restriction to bear in mind: the midi. When creating for these releases, you must compose original musical or rhythmic parts and avoid using any midi or musical motifs from this or any other F9 release.
This updated licensing term now encompasses stem creation and "track-outs," which are frequently seen in beat marketplaces. It also applies to ghost production and collaborative projects. Our goal is to provide you with even greater flexibility and creative potential in your music production endeavours.

I can't sell clip gaining enough. My compression improved immensely when I just levelled a wave out before I reached for a compressor. You further extend that with volume automation and you can get some amazingly detailed sounding mixes.

@@F9Audio I researched the history of delay 😂 they had to reel-to-reel to get delay. Now we just load a plugin hahaha we are spoiled. We take so much for granted. And I am a tweak freak. I love sitting there for hours and just reverse engineering plugins and effects. I love plugins that allow me to ticker and get granular with my settings.

It goes without saying that this is a brilliant bit of tutoring - but for me, the best bit is the commentary on the Waves subscription attempts 😂

I was so cross with them - I supported for years despite a series of challenges ( why the AU’s do not work in Ableton still amazes me to this day ) but to instantly cancel support after decades and force to pay monthly to access our investments properly was disgraceful - There is a very big plus side to this though The creation of Soundwide ( NI, Izotope, Bx , PA ) will undoubtedly end up in another attempt to force subscription on us and after this - It will not be able to do so without perpetual options alongside I’m hoping Dirk from PA ( who always watched Waves very carefully and is now one of the biggest private investors of Soundwide ) approaches all this very carefully - To me he’s always been very user focussed The mopping up of this sector by corporate entity is a worrying development - We all just flexed our muscles though and the results were near instant - That’s never happened before to my knowledge
