Failed my class last semester during my second year and am striving to become a professional accountant, basically putting all of my eggs in one basket. But ever since last semester, I've been so discouraged in studying accounting because I ask myself, "What if I'm not built for this.. what then?" But luckily, today, I finally clicked on this video that was next in the playlist. Your story was so relatable and it makes me relieved to see someone who was just like me being in your position. So your story hit the exact same mark for me.. it was like seeing a mirror into the future and I will work my hardest this fall semester. Thank you so much, Tony!

With all due respect, I'm not here because I'm studying accounting in college. In fact, I'm not here because I want a degree or phd or something. I'm here because I read rich Dad poor dad and that book literally changed the way I look at the concept of money. The Rich dad didn't taught his knowledge only to Robert Kiyosaki but millions like me. I'm here because the rich dad said "There are 4 lessons you must learn to get rich: Accounting, Investing, Understanding Markets, and the Law". Hopefully, I will complete the step 1 with your videos and Im greatful for your videos. Thank you so much sir!

Thank you for that story at the end there, I recently began intro to accounting and starting tonight I've started watching your videos to study intensively. I recently took a quiz, after a particularly difficult previous week, having missed 2 classes, severe depression, I took a pre midterm quiz. I got a 63% on it. I felt utterly destroyed. The previous semester I had a GPA of 3.85 and I have a huge interest in Human Resources, so accounting and financial knowledge is key, but, I felt like such a train wreck, and the quiz seemed like such a blur, but as your teacher told you....I have to do better on my next tests and mid terms, you can't dwell. Which is why I'm here watching your videos. Thanks so much Tony, I'll be watching the rest of your videos, especially ones on credits and debits for my midterm on friday of next week. You really are a passionate professor to be putting this much time and energy into teaching, I learn so much from KZbin Videos, so much more than I do from textbooks, it's almost like having a personal tutor. From 3 videos, I've made 6 pages of notes and I feel so much more clear on the last month of school in the past 2 hours. Really Tony, Thank you so much.

I could never understand the relationship between debt and equity ratios previously. Now I could remember the formulas and their meaning without trying to practice. HOW could you make it so easy? Everyone who is taking accounting foundation classes should be watching your videos. Also, your personal story is really motivating. As someone who just discovered and was diagnosed with ADHD in my early 30s two weeks ago, my imposter syndrome, anxiety, and depression were so bad that I wanted to give up on being a CPA every time. Since discovering your videos, they just gave me so much hope that I could understand accounting subjects and I could beat the odds to become a CPA. Thank you!

Your personal story relates to me so much. I've wanted to be an accountant my whole life, yet I just had my Exam 1 a few days ago and I scored a 42% even though I studied all night, without sleep. It was the Journal entries and adjusting them which got to me. Tomorrow I have a graded assignment on Exam 1, which I failed. I'm here watching your video's now at 3AM to get a better grip on what I'm doing. This is my second semester in college, last semester I had a 3.9 GPA and I've never failed a test in my life besides my first accounting exam. Cheer's to all you & all your video's, you're an amazing role model.
