Hehehe, I was surprised too to be honest... yet still I prefer to sharpen them with exacto knife to be honest :) Seems like it's faster, hahahaha

Thank you for sharing and taking the time. I bought the same set about a year ago on Amazon, I feel the same as you. They are another tool and what's there not to like in the quality. I also find that I need to use proper paper to get results that I am happy with. Again Thank You, your generosity and talent are amazing.

Thank You so much Steve :) It's nice to hear that someone feel the same about this set too :) I don't have a special pastel paper unfortunately but I found out my Cold pressed Arches watercolor paper seems to like these pencils ;) They are also not smudging as much so I need to give this paper a try ;) Nice to having You here Steve.

These pitt Pastel Pencils the way they look from appearance remind me of my Lyra Polycolor pencils.

I want to ask. Is it work if you combine this Pitt pastel pencil with colour pencil? I mean the darker one using the Pitt pastel, to have darker and more texture?
@DKdesign4 жыл бұрын
Of course you can! :) but remember to use a good quality paper (grainy one) like Pastelmat for example and be careful to not fill tooth of the paper too quickly ;)

Dominika where did you get your rubber brush that you used for blending? That would be handy to having instead of blender pencils.

Hi Denise S :) I buy my art supplies in my local art shop unfortunately. But this is from Color Shaper Van Gogh brand :)

Thank you Dominika, when you know what your looking for it makes it that much easier to find. I found them on Dick Blick quite pricey I'll have to save for birthday however Kim has told about some on Amazon so I'll start with those and get used to them then graduate to the others. Thank you ladies for all your help 😍😍

Are you from Poland?

Hehehe :D You amaze me Monica :) Sim, eu entendi tudo :) Você definiu o idioma bem.

I believe it would help many to make a decision if they're aware what country all supplies are manufactured in. I, like many others, aren't interested in anything made in sweatshop China.

I’m sorry,but these are PASTELS, they are suppose to be blended or “smeared” either with your fingers, q-tip,cotton balls,or there are other tools for that.
@DKdesign2 жыл бұрын
I absolutely agree with you JudithF :) This is not a paper you would like to use your pastel pencils on ;) I only wanted to show some colors and pigmentation of them for my coloring friends :) hence this first page of coloring book :) If I would try to smudge them by my finger on this paper this would be instant a huge mess :D I made some separate full tutorial on how to use them on paper made especially for pastel pencils and there you can see me using them properly :) But I fully understand you, you are right.
@judithf92972 жыл бұрын
@@DKdesign Sure, I didn’t want to offend you. Most pastel papers are expensive,which one do you recommend? I also think that some are too harsh(like Pastelmat).
