The best thing you can do is make noise while the babies are sleeping. That’s exactly what we did and our kids could sleep through anything and anywhere. On the other hand my sisters whole house stopped and it had to be silent while her kids slept. As you know getting anything done has to happen when the babies are sleeping. I ran the vacuum in the same room and they slept through it. Y’all are doing great, keep it up!!!

El crying when the boys settled for the first time after moving to Aptimel Pepti had me in tears. My son who is 10 weeks old is also on Aptimel Pepti and the relief you feel when you realise they are no longer uncomfortable and in pain is indescribable. I felt all of her emotion in the moment it’s so mentally & physically draining when you baby/babies are like that. ❤ xx

Aptamil pepti 1 changed my daughter! Much happier baby :) rash on eyebrows and belly disappeared, no more discomfort, it took 2 weeks for me to see the full effect as that’s how long it takes for the other milk to leave the system x

I remember the anxiety of being a first time parent well… they are so precious and every little thing is brand new so you don’t know what to expect or think. You are doing a great job! My son was in hospital when he was two weeks old because he had pyloric stenosis and had to have an operation to repair it. It was the scariest time of my life, so I really felt for you when you explained the feeding issues and the scary experience with Ari being unable to breathe. I am so sorry your boys are having a hard time, I hope they are doing better now! It’s lovely to see them grow, thank you for sharing your journey with us all! X

As a tip from a Nicu nurse we use aptamil pepti JR which is this- most babies struggle to take to this and a tip we use is to make its warm, not room temp as otherwise they don’t entertain it. some babies love it hotter than normal on Nicu. Also it does make there stools smell fyi 😂

After having twins it will be so good to make sure you refocus on your relationship too. A book called His Needs Her Needs I would recommend. I've not had twins but I have had 7 children very close together. And it's easy to but your own relationship on the back burner. I wish I had read the book earlier.

I hope the boys continue to improve, I can only imagine how frightened, upsetting and frustrated you were feeling Ell. I was only saying a couple days ago how miraculous it is when babies are born. Going from the environment of the amniotic sac and fluid to the outside world of learning to breathe air with their little lungs going through a huge transition, virtually instantly. So your absolutely right Ell. I haven't heard of the fourth trimester before but yes, again your absolutely right. Most babies don't have the feeding issue when they're breastfeeding. Fingers crossed that whatever formila you have the boys on now, that it works so you can all get some much needed rest. Love their new clothes.

You two are so cute! I'm so happy that Ari and Noah are feeling much better. Having your first child (children) is so stressful on the parents too because you don't know what is normal. My son was such a quiet, happy little baby, never cried, slept through the night at 6 weeks. My daughter on the other hand was the total opposite. She suffered from colic and refused to drink from a bottle. I was her bottle for the first 6 months so no one could ever help me out. It all worked out in the end and I'm sure it will for you two as well. You both look amazing, and the boys are so much bigger just from the last video! Hope you have a wonderful week! Looking forward to seeing the new gym too! ❤

I found a swing a life saver with my now 2 year old ! Big and bulky though not sure how you would cope with two in the house. Could have one thought and take in turns with who ever is needing it xx also she had a cows mill allergy we was on nutramigen (on prescription from docs so was free) and I think it took 3 different milks to get there. Cant really remember how to spell it now. Didn't notice until stopping breastfeeding. By 16 weeks she was itching so much all the time but changed milk and she was fine. We done all the checks at hospital I think when she was over one and pleased to say she grew out of it and had no allergies long term. At nearly 3 she has cheese yogurt milk the lot. Hopeful that's the same situation for you. She fed amazing once changing milk and changed to a settled baby really quick

I completely understand how hard it is when they are so unsettled with feeds and never seem to settle or sleep for long periods. I’m a paediatric nurse so knew the signs so once I got her milk switched she became a different baby. I did have to add some carobel in her feeds just to thicken the milk abit due to her reflux but after that she was thriving and so happy! Fingers crossed this settles soon for them. I completely understand how stressful it is to watch your babies struggling!

We have twin boys who turned five just before Christmas…you guys are doing wonderful! I couldn’t help but crack up when you were both feeding them and arguing a bit about Fab going out the day before with his friends and Ell wanting to get her nails done later. I remember those days so well of giving each other devil eyes when one or the other was escaping the house for a bit! It’s so necessary but also so hard on the parent left behind. Twins are so hard!!! Especially when they are your first kids! (I mean that’s the only experience I have known but I had a very challenging time!) just taking pictures and videos and laughing about everything as much as possible (and letting yourself cry too!) got us through it. Ours were “colicky” and had acid reflux for the first 4 months and i wanted to pull my hair out! Sending you love and very best wishes! Hardest and most joyful parts of life for me!

My little boy had a deep cut behind his ear when he was younger, he also had cradle cap, and he suffered a terrible dribble rash at about 2 months, also had eczema but honestly when they get older it just all disappears! They’re so new to the world that their skin is just getting used to the atmosphere. My son also had digestive issues up until about 4 months! I promise though it gets easier! Again the digestion is to do with them being so young their digestion is just developing and figuring out how to work. My sons 8 months now and has nothing like this anymore! The beginning is so tough especially as a new parent! It does get easier though I promise! :)

My daughter had a severe problem with her 4th baby with feeding. It took months to find out that baby Emberlee was severely allergic to milk protein, and then to find right formula. Emberlee also had severe problems with acid reflux, so meds for that. Finding right formula in-stock was very difficult. She was born premature, very tiny , and wasnt gaining weight. When was about 2, genetics testing found a very rare disease which showed the eating disorder as a problem as well as her older sister having. There are many other symptoms that go along with disease so both kids have to go for tests every few months, ie. Heart, thyroid, kidney, etc
