I am now 61 and my youngest is 37 and I still shudder when remembering her tantrums 😳they were legendary. I was lulled into a false sense of security because I can honestly say that my eldest didn’t have tantrums at all and I remember smugly thinking to myself that other parents were just either exaggerating or didn’t know how to deal with their child 😬 I soon learned when my youngest came along that tantrums are a thing and it was a real shock to the system 😀 I agree that laughter is a good way to deal with the frustration of the situation if at all possible…….good luck 😀

Guys your doing bloody marvellous. 1 baby having tantrums is stressful enough. I was told by health visitor let them tantrum and don’t give in, yeah easy to say! Your right it is a faze but still emotionally draining. The boys are a dream. when I see them being mischievous and laughing and happy it melts my heart. Yes I’m a silly old nanny. You are fabulous with them. Definitely get Astro turf it’s a game changer. I hoover mine! Being disabled I couldn’t cope with grass. I know you won’t believe this right now but, when they grow up and move out of the house and start living their own life, All you are going to hear is white noise and you will be wishing they were still little and making lots of noise. I hope all of you have a wonderful weekend. Hugs from the south east coast of Florida.😎🌴🐠🌴😎

It seems like whatever age your children are they’re always going through a ‘stage’- waking in the night, not settling at bedtime, tantrums, fussy eating. Honestly there’s always something and you think yey they’re over that and they start with another thing! When you’re going through it it feels never ending but believe me when you look back on it it’s only for a short time. They do try our patience at times but we wouldn’t be without them would we?

Good luck guys, my twin girls turned 3 last month and so far I can say between 2.5-3 is the most difficult age for us so far.... lots and lots of tantrums, not being able to leave the room without being shouted or screamed at, constantly both wanting to be on top of you, hitting each other... they're the queen of the house and they make sure we know it lol... they are great though ;) and it is a phase and will get better... but just know it's going to get a lot worse hahaha

Hey, you guys probably thought of this already, but did you notify the kid's playplace about Noah having the hand-foot-mouth virus? Just in case they have a special extra cleaning protocol they would want to follow, especially with the dress-up clothes. It's probably just the nurse in me, going into disinfecting overkill!! Hang in there with the tantrum stage. I remember going through it with my twin boys. Some days were just pure torture. I would take them out to their favorite park, or out to feed the ducks. Repeat the saying, " This too shall pass." It's a very normal developmental stage and your boys are very normal. I enjoy watching your channel. I first subscribed when the boys were newborns. You are both amazing parents! Just keep loving and supporting each other through the hard times. Sending you my love and hugs from hot and rainy Georgia USA. ❤🫂🇺🇸🧒🧒

Hi Fab and Ell, I get it with parenting it is the best thing to be a parent but also it is very difficult at times but the most rewarding. With my last child he is now 14 I have been a single parent, and through the hard times I also cherish the other moments and when I look back at the newborn/ toddler stage all I see was the good times and I miss my son at that age. When they get through toddlerhood and into teens you will see just the good times they are soon forgotten if that makes sense. You two are brilliant parents and enrich your twin boys with all they need. I didn’t have twins so I get it must be hard at times but it’s the best times also xxx

She has written a book called “There is no such thing as naughty” for parents of children aged 0-5 which might be worth a look. I haven’t read it yet, but the reviews are really good and apparently it contains some useful strategies. The only issue will be finding the time to read it!
