Nice video and even better region and country! If you've never been to Austria I highly recommend you go. The country is spectacular and the people friendly and outgoing. The food is great and they have good beers too. And the view of the Festung in Salzburg from Mirabell Gardens at night has to be seen at least once in your life! When my wife and I go we prefer to travel by bike since you miss so much when traveling by car or train. It allows you to really see and get a feel for the lifestyle and culture vs. blowing through in a vehicle. The Danube bike path is a great way to start exploring the country if you have any questions about your fitness. You can easily rent bikes or find a supported ride if that's a concern. We have a specially built touring bikes that we use for touring in Europe. We check them as luggage and then use our panniers as carry-on bags. We prefer using our own bikes & saddles for better safety and comfort. For us we prefer to just plan a route and go. We stay in B&B's or pensions along our chosen route and keep the mileage below 50 miles a day so that we have time to sight-see and explore. Most of the routes or bike paths are well marked so getting lost isn't too much of a worry. If you do get turned around and somebody sees you with a map in your hand they'll be sure to stop and help you with directions! You can also bring a Garmin with the route entered to guide you as well. So if you're considering visiting the Osttirol region or Austria in general just do it! I've been fortunate enough to travel to many countries around the world and they each have their charms. However, Austria is the only country I repeatedly go back to. It really is that special!!!
