Fabled Oaks Farm Passive Water Harvesting Earthworks - First Rain

This short video contains a few clips shot by our clients during a break in the rains on 12/14/2021. The earthworks were installed in February of 2021. This is the first significant rainfall the earthworks have seen.

Thanks for the update. The amount of water running from the roadway looks relatively small until you follow the swale system down and see the volume you've collected. A great system, from both a flood prevention, and a infiltration perspective. Keep up the good work.

That creek could use some beaver dam analogs to pond things up and slow the flow.....

It certainly could! Such work was outside the scope of our project, and would require all kinds of legal hoop jumping to pull off here in CA, but there are groups out there that are doing it and making it happen.
