Yes, the plastic mesh is typically used for yarn crafts... ever seen those tissue box covers that have a design made from yarn? This is what's underneath. So check your craft store by the yarn or cross stitching supplies. It shouldn't be more than a couple of dollars.

I would look at similar items on Etsy and see what they're selling for. Start by listing them on the high end, and if you don't have any luck, it's easy to lower the price a bit. Good luck!

I just followed your pattern and tutorial on you tube. House is really cute. But my sides are a little short so the "roof" doesn't line up quite right. Both sides are identical. Next time, I might make the side pieces about an inch longer. Any ideas why this happened? I followed the quarter inch seam allowance everywhere.

Hi there! I love your tutorial - but I have no idea where to get the plastic mesh. The only thing I found was on ebay with a shipping fee from America to Germany around 36 $ - ouch!! Any other ideas? I hit the hardware store today - no luck! Hope you can help me - cheers, Kat
