Both blocks are beautiful. I’ve watched many tutorials for cathedral window blocks and I know believe I can make one. Some tutorials show the quick, cheats way and others the traditional way but make it so complicated looking. I’m so pleased I found your channel a little while back as once again you’ve shown each step without all the unnecessary and confusing chatter. For many blocks, especially this one, a visual tutorial where the viewer only has to concentrate on how to fold and sew the fabric is by far, for me anyway, the best way to learn such a technique. I didn’t have to worry about the verbal and visual instructions becoming out of sync with each other, which often occurs. Thanks for sharing and greetings from Ararat, Victoria 😀👋

As always your videos are very well done and interesting. I have looked at 3-D quilt squares for a while. But I wonder what happens after you wash these. Would you have a wrinkled mess because it’s cotton fabric. Then I thought maybe you could make these into a throw pillow, since you wouldn’t have to wash that near as often or if ever. I think I prefer the pedal one the best. Like others the cathedral window is too fussy for me.

Thank you. It depends how much wear and tear it’ll have. You can use glue on the raw edges to stop any fraying

Very nice! I would have loved to have you show us how to connect multiples of cathedral window blocks together. Is it just the same as it was with sewing the two pairs of little blocks together? A large quilt of this appeals to me because I wouldn't have to quilt it once it's pieced.

That’s right. Each single square is joined until you make the size you like. In my sample I only made 4 squares but you get the idea
