Lovely summer dresses! For knit neckbands, I measure the neckline circumference (minus seam allowance) and cut the neckband length at 85% of the opening. Even though I try to calculate yardage for jersey knit projects, it's nice to have a little extra yardage of your Batik jersey to use in other projects. Your friend's idea to use bias binding for the hem of the Fringe dress was great! Good tip to read through pattern instructions before sewing. I do-even if I don't always follow them. @@sewbatikfabric you're welcome. You may also want to test 90%. I draw the seam allowance on the pattern or fabric and measure on the line.

I received my package yesterday and washed it right up. The fabrics are soooooo beautiful. Thank you Bruce! I made up the Simple Elegant Tee with the dusty topaz jersey from an earlier order and hacked it up because I just cannot seem to control myself. (Neurodivergence!). Anyway. Love the Violetta design, love love love Flock Together. Dopamine sewing all the way.
