My husband told me about the suit covers that come with his clothes from M&S. They are garment cover shape but are open at the bottom (ie no zip) and so he puts his suits on the hanger and the cover just pulls down over it which would be a lot quicker to make if you need a lot of them. They also have a little loop at the bottom which you can hang from the top hanger for when he is travelling. Love your ideas for the garment cover though. Very important when we spend so much time sewing them!
