If I have a floor that is only coming apart from the tube about 10 inches on one side (not the direct front) would it still be better to peel it all the way off and re-do it all like you did here? Or if the glue isn't to bad elsewhere, could I just fix that one area. Any tips on how to tell? If its coming apart in one area is it safe to assume all the glue is old and shot?

First of all, a million thanks for these videos! I just bought a 1999 Zodiac 310FR in very good condition. The owner sold it for $200 because the floor separated from the tubes. I plan on cleaning with acetone, orbital sander, ang gluing with HH66. Do you think that would work? Also, what grit sanding are you using? Thank you!!

Your more than welcome, but I would highly recommend staying away from HH66 Adhesives. Have heard and seen many failures with that glue. Because of the failure rate of that glue, I would recommend either Stabond UK-148, Zodiac Z7096 Plastomere, or Weaver PVC glue. You'll get a better bang for your buck with the Z7096 Plastomere Glue.

Hi, thanks for great video. I have a zodiac c240 where the floor has come off. How much glue would I need to glue it back on?

You would need about a pint or 250ml of glue. But I would get a quart in case there's areas you want to reinforce.

What products are you using to clean and glue the surfaces?

MEK or Acetone for cleaning PVC toluene for Hypalon/CSM, Zodiac Glue or Stabond glue for gluing. Are my go to preferred choices for repairs.

They are pressure rollers. Used for leather repair.

how to tell if used inflatable boat is worth trying to salvage? Is there a fabric test?

its more visual if anything. If the fabric is cracked, faded to the inner cords, etc... then, the boat is garbage. there's other tell tale signs like youll see fabric delamination, and glue delamination.

I own a Zodiac and the all fiberglass floor has completely separated from the side bladders (no leaks) will this setup and glue work on that? what is name of glue? Looks like good job on it there! How is it holding up so far?

Z7096 Zodiac glue is what is used. But a 2 part PVC Inflatable Boat Glue is best if the Zodiac glue isnt available. Such as Weaver, Staband, etc...

Do you only fix zodiac boats is saturn boats any good and what causes this problem

I fix all brand inflatable brands, generally this happens from age or over loading a boat. Saturn boats are a good boat. But like anything, its all aour how you care for it.
