4 years down, and I'm still using this pattern for the holder for different size napkins my family have, for Christmas presents, which they bring out every year, or even use all year round. I have a brain tumor(benign, thankfully!) and damaged parts, which disrupts my memory and focus, but you explain everything so clearly. I love your channel, it always sparks renewed keaness to keep sewing even though patterns are tough for me! Xx

Thank you. This is very nice. I love the fabrics you chose. This would be lovely in Christmas fabrics for our Christmas table. Great idea.

Your videos are awesome! You should do this again with Christmas fabrics and no ric rack. That’s what I’m making right now and instead of cotton batting I’m using a firm stabilizer.

If your napkin is 9 1/2 inches, don’t you need to add about 3/4 inch for seam allowance and wiggle room. I’m confused. And for the batting you didn’t say exactly how much to use. Enough for the bottom and 5 1/2 inches 4 times for the sides? This napkin basket is exactly what I am looking for.

Hi Janice. Cut all fabric including the cotton batting the same size that you calculated for your napkins. -Measure width and length of napkin -Add 1/2" to width -Add 1/2" to length -Use your napkin size and seam allowance together -Use that final measurement to cut all your fabrics Hope this helps. Thanks for watching💗 and happy sewing😍
