FYI, if anyone isn't sure, it's interfacing, not innerfacing. :)

is fusible interfacing washable? Would you wash these pockets?
@SewLearnCreate4 жыл бұрын
Yes fusible interfacing is washable. Most of the time it is used in clothing. Just follow the manufactures directions and you should be fine. Thanks for the question.
@kathleenmayhorne31833 жыл бұрын
Interfacing can come away from cotton fabric when washed. By that time the construction is all done, no bad effects usually happen. If you are addicted to ironing, just make sure all layers are lined up, so if it re-fuses, it fuses in the right place. All the best
@vickipackham73574 жыл бұрын
What weight of interfacing do you recommend?
@SewLearnCreate4 жыл бұрын
I used a light weight fusible. It gave the pocket just enough body but did not make it stiff. Also when you turn it right side out it is a little easier with the light weight. Hope that helps. Thanks for your question.

what kind of iron is that? what is the name of it and where can I get it? ty so much
@SewLearnCreate Жыл бұрын
I just uploaded a video about the small iron I use. I got mine at Walmart several years ago. They have changed the handle design since then but I put links in the description of that video for a couple of options. Thanks for commenting, I love to encourage others in their sewing journey.

I hope that you are still around .. the links no longer work..

Thanks for sharing that my links are not working. I am in the process of trying to figure out what the problem is and get it corrected. Thanks again.
