Mr. Domestic, love your channel and I want to say that houndstooth is my all time favorite fabric pattern. I have always loved weaving and to fine both of my loves in one place made me a happy camper. I can't wait to make this and incorporate it into my next project. Thank you for sharing.

I just watched your "got my channel back" video....YAY!! The notion of not being able to make the purse I have envisioned in my head using this weaving pattern made me very sad. I'm so happy to see it back.... And all of the rest of your content! Wishes for a peaceful, joyful Holiday season ❤️🌲

Hi Mister. Das sieht toll aus. Muss es einmal ausprobieren. Ich könnte es mir als Zusatztasche für eine große Reisetasche vorstellen. Am besten vorne dran. Für Zeitschriften oder ähnliches. Danke für das Video.

I just found your channel!! I LOVE IT!! One question - once this has been done, what happens to the interfacing?? and does it leave any "sticky" behind??

Just got my tool today. Was wondering about making a jean purse. But would like to weave it. Thinking to heavy to fold. Have you ever weaved from old jeans.

Love this technique! Do you have any videos showing how to use for a potholder, including the finishing?

@@MxDomestic Oh, goody!!! I'm thinking leave it attached to fusible interfacing, trim the edges, line with batting, insul-bright or something similar, then place an larger square of fabric on the back, and fold the edges over the sides ... waddyathink? :) Love your videos!

I love your videos, don’t know about the monster mash laugh though! (Insert one here!) That iron really caught my attention because B&D is affordable-until it started blinking at its base. I hope B&D has an off switch for function.

Love your tutorials. Is that a wool mat you are pressing on? What do you think about it? Worth the investment?
@deborahfitzer68776 жыл бұрын
Lisa Klein I have two wool pressing mats and yes, I think they are really worth the price. Especially if you do any wool appliqué or add embroidery to your quilting. Even with regular piecing my blocks lay better after pressing!

When I asked what tool you were using I meant the one you are weaving with. I guess I wasn’t clear on that.

That tool you used. What is it called and where can I get one? Like that tutorial thank you.
@leavesongrass6 жыл бұрын
It is called a Bias Tape Maker. Check amazon. They come in different sizes. Some have an opening on top that you can put sticky back tape in for other uses-that is you can then iron the bias tape down on something and it will stick.
