Today we're going to show the process of fabricating a center console from scratch for the 1955 Mercury. We picked up an Oldsmobile console the other day but it doesn't quite fit the car so we're using it for design inspiration 🔥

Thank you for another school day! For a tighter bend, the fingers need to be closer to the pivot point. Moved out to the edge of the bend. Move it back about the thickness of the material trying to be bent. Found out the hard way bending thicker material.

Look's real nice like the rounded the edges in spots ! Have seen a lot of people make them out of wood but do not look good have to go and build like you have so look like factory but it's a one of a kind ! Great Job Chad !

Whereas most people build consoles from wood or plastic or cardboard bad chad Builds it out of metal, that’s awesome super strong and reliable and that’s metal working people.
