Either Hannah deserves an Oscar for best actress or she really loves making quilts. Bet she never imagined that life's path would lead her to this job and a love of quilting. Her sister will treasure her quilt.

Hannah, I LOVE your quilt. Initially, I was a little ambivalent about one of the fabric choices (sorry 🥴) but I was sooooo wrong and have learned from this and will be more daring in future with my own choices. Congratulations, it really is stunning and well done!

Thank you for the video. It was a ton of helpful information. Even though I quilt my quilts on my domestic machine, I still found all the instructions very informative. Great job on the quilt 😊

I love Hannah's quilt especially the backing! Do you have to baste your quilt sandwich for the longarmer..thread, spray basting, or anything? Loved this video! Thank you!

Hi Cynthia! When we are working with our local longarm quilter, we do not need to baste the quilt in any way. We send the top and backing separate. It's always a good idea to check with the longarm quilter you would like to work with on what they prefer.

When doing. The back could you cut the back same size as the block then add a piece around the edge to make a deceive back soof you wanted to show of the quilting it would be. Reversable

I was always told that the seams on the backing should be horizontal, not verticle. Is that a preference for the long armer.?
@Crafty-n-Krazy Жыл бұрын
Question when piecing the back shouldnt the seams go across the quilt instead of up amd down ,or dont it matter?
