Even though I am late to this party, I love, love Bob's chickens. I raised chickens af a 4-Her and had some for many of our married years. Do miss the clucking and the rooster so this is my very favorite as love the supporting fabrics and the realistic chickens. Hugs from Maine.

I think "Good Grief" is very clever! The combo of fabrics and pattern is perfect. I don't "need" any more projects, but I couldn't stop thinking about this kit, decided I had to have it, and ordered it this morning. I grew up with the Peanuts characters, so I'm looking forward to making this quilt as soon as the kit arrives.

Sorry Donna, but I am going to go with Roberts Roosters, nice choice of fabrics! Then I LOVED Natalie’s Good Grief, and the changing it up was a great idea!!! I love Batiks so Denise stole that challenge for sure. I loved this challenge, thanks Donna for all of your fun videos…I check every day to see if a new one is posted! I’ve yet to make a 3 yard quilt, but I really, really want to. I need a good sale (hint, hint) on a kit so I can do one!🥰

I have to give the first round to Donna just because I love the beach. I thought the chicken fabric was beautiful, but the beach wins. Round 2 goes to Justin. Pooh is one of my favorites too. I loved natalie's idea of using her focus fabric as the border and mimicking Charlie Brown's shirt in the quilt top. Round 3 was a tie. I really didn't love either choices. I loved parts of them. I loved the sunflower focus fabric but thought the other 2 fabrics were a little too busy. I loved the camper idea, but wished the camper material had more variety.

Here are my picks: Round 1 - A tie - I liked the prints and colors in Donna's fabric of "Sand In My Toes" with the Brick Street pattern; I really enjoyed hearing the background story of Robert's focus fabric, to make the kit, "Blue Ribbon Rooster" -- and I'm a fan of his Byzantine Door pattern. Round 2 - Nadalie wins with the Chevron pattern and "Good Grief" fabric, I liked her choice of putting the focus fabric in the border so that #2 & #3 fabrics would make for a more dramatic chevron. Round 3 - Gary wins for me with the Sugar Pie Pattern and "Road Trip" fabric. A fun focus fabric made more manly looking with the #2 & #3 contrasting colors - Perfect for any man pulling a camper trailer. It's pretty obvious that all the participants are well schooled on what to pick for a focus fabric and how the #2 should be lighter than the #3 fabric yet still provide interest even on their own. I'll bet each one of them could explain how that's done to someone who just walked into your shop (if it were open to the public) even though they'd never seen one of your patterns or videos. But what I consider the absolute #1 winner of this video is the "Rounds" screen pictures with those oh-so-fun poses in each round. They all put a smile on my face. Who is the creative person who did that? Enquiring minds want to know! 🤩 I'll bet you all had fun doing that, didn't you? Thanks for keeping things fresh.
