Thank you, Corey, for encouraging me to sew. I’m 82 and have been quilting since the 70’s, but at my age, I tend to lose my quilting mojo. I have been quilting for only a few years. My favorite patterns to learn are the ones that start as a simple block. Then you cut them and sew them back together, like a disappearing 9-patch. I love the “wow”factor and comments I get from my quilt recipients. I have made about 45 quilts in the past three years, most of which were lap quilts, and have given every one of them away. That is the reason I quilt. I enjoy the process of making the quilts and very much look forward to giving them each a loving home.

Thank you so much for taking time to make videos for us. I learn best by watching. I have only been quilting since January of 2019; so all videos are appreciated. I have trouble with picking colors and knowing where to put them in the pattern., so I learn a lot from hearing how you go through your selection process. What fun, Corey!!! I have anxiously been awaiting this video, and you did not disappoint! That wooly bar does look like it would be very handy. I recieved a wool pressing mat for Christmas and have been surprised at how well it works. I really enjoy tutorials, and sneak peek videos. I love to see how multiple fabric lines are used in the same quilt pattern or one fabric line used in multiple patterns. Specifically, I struggle to use layer cakes in patterns. So seeing videos using patterns that make use of a specific precut is very helpful. Thanks for the great videos!
