Thank you, Corey, for encouraging me to sew. I’m 82 and have been quilting since the 70’s, but at my age, I tend to lose my quilting mojo. Your streams are so full of positive encouragement, and I love your beautiful fabrics! I have my sun washed fat quarters and a layer cake and am all set to get started on the Cakewalk sewalong! I taught my daughter how to quilt and she has not only become a meticulous piecer, but has also become very good at using my longarm. I’m thrilled that quilting has become popular with younger women..and men, too! Keep on designing and sharing the joy you bring to us every week.

I have been quilting for only a few years. My favorite patterns to learn are the ones that start as a simple block. Then you cut them and sew them back together, like a disappearing 9-patch. I love the “wow”factor and comments I get from my quilt recipients. I have made about 45 quilts in the past three years, most of which were lap quilts, and have given every one of them away. That is the reason I quilt. I enjoy the process of making the quilts and very much look forward to giving them each a loving home.

I remember seeing a quilt on another channel, several years ago, admiring the color choices and finding out it was your fabric. It was such an inspiration, calming, yet beautiful and every time I saw a quilt after that I knew immediately if it was yours. I'm so happy to find your weekly creations, you're quilt tops and other examples are artistic expressions, from your name to pillow top.

I just found your KZbin channel today. I am a novice quilter, but, an experienced sewist. I enjoyed how you made sample blocks and explained your decisions on why some fabrics worked well together, or why some fabric combos didn’t achieve your vision. I think that advice is so helpful to newbies to quilting like myself. Your quilts are lovely. I learned a lot from this video. Thank you. You are so down to earth friendly and kind and engaging to your audience. You are a natural teacher.

So many times you have to wait, since folks like to have you come back to watch every video they produce. This is the tutorial best on any mystery box I have watched. The box had great sewing supplies, except the mug, and enough fabric to make a quilt. Plus, the notions are something that are very useable and helpful. Having you make a couple quilts made the idea of buying a mystery box worthwhile.

I love to see how multiple fabric lines are used in the same quilt pattern or one fabric line used in multiple patterns. Specifically, I struggle to use layer cakes in patterns. So seeing videos using patterns that make use of a specific precut is very helpful. Thanks for the great videos!

Thank you Corey for sharing your mystery box. your videos are very good and I look forward to more. It is enjoyable to see the quilts you make and sharing new techniques. I have made a quilt top from one of your free patterns, and it was well written and easy to follow. Keep calm & quilt on!!
