Can I just say, when he says lower light, please remember they grow these in a greenhouse vs your dark dank apartment.

I have learned so much from your videos, you give alot of specific detail to the care of the plant and able to do it in a short amount of time where I can understand it, to the point thank you! I have a notebook I take notes on all your videos for the plants I have and hope to get in the future. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.

your plants are always so healthy and happy looking. To know that the plant has been there before you were born is amazing because you are still growing it and getting new plants from the mother who is probably a great great great great great.... well you get what I am saying.

Thanks for explaining the age I watched a video where someone said one leaf a year and I was thinking no way lol and the melano w it's adjustable humidity levels, all the newer plant people are saying they need 70-80% humidity so thanks for clearing that up.

Monstera deliciousa #1. They will live without any light in a warehouse for 6-8 months and still be fine. Not to mention the drought tolerance and flooded conditions they will easily endure once mature.

Thanks for a very informative video! I have a question though. Is there any fear of overly wet soil with a small plant in a larger pot with a cedar plank? I have a silver sword I want to do this to but am worried about overwatering.
@LogeesPlants3 жыл бұрын
A small plant in a wet pot is never a good thing. Let it dry out between waterings and give the plant a chance to adapt to its new environment. The cedar plank really doesn't matter - it's the pot size and the plant size that matters. Also, the small plant should only go up one pot size. For example a 2 "to a 4" or a 4" to a 6". It is over-potting that can cause trouble with over-watering. You don't want a small plant to sit in a big mass of wet soil.

There is actually only one correct pronunciation for 'sodiroi', one that is faithful with Latin rules: 'so-dee-ro-eye'. Cool video, nonetheless. Can't help but look at the plants in the background.

love this video! Will logees be selling the philodendron sodiroi? I see the black gold online. thanks so much

Thank you for your comments and interest in the Sodiroi. Unfortunately, we don't have enough plants to offer them online or in our catalog. When available, we will be featuring them on our new auction site: auctions.logees.com

Someone please help! I love my Logees plants! But I'm scared to order philodendron. I hear from everyone they are easy but mine all die! I have one that I managed to keep alive by throwing him outside. What are the indoor requirements to keep them alive? My home is very hot and bright and it has been the death of many of my plants.
