Teal and Tattered Journals

Күн бұрын

Hello and happy New Year! For the first project of 2021 I decided to make a triple flip-out for the front inside cover of the journal I'm working on.
I love adding interactive elements to my journals - flips, fold outs, secret pockets and journaling spots. I am currently working on a collection on journals and want to add tons of those things to the books! Join me if you are interested!!
Here is the playlist for all the interactive elements we will be adding to our journals:
I hope you will enjoy! Wishing you a wonderful weekend and I will speak to you on Monday!
Love,
Martyna

I love listening to your calm voice. I don't worry about how long the videos are. We can stop, pause, and come back. Please don't make yourself rush. Today I could hear it in your voice, like you were running instead of taking a pleasant walk. I love what you bring, in art, creativity, and techiques.

This will be my first mini project for 2021. I am looking for ideas to use within a Journal I made in December and found your channel a few days ago. Since then I have watched a few of your videos and very much like your different style and ideas. I will be using quite a few of them to decorate my Journal. Although I don't have a lot in the way of ephemera and various bits and pieces that you have used. So I will have to be extra creative and find ways to use what I have to get a similar effect. This Trifold so far is my favourite so this is what I will make first. You do a really good job of showing how you make things, the one thing I would say, is relax a little more. You don't have to feel rushed. Your doing a great job explaining how you make things and you have your viewers attention. If it takes you a little longer to do a video because your more relaxed we will stay and watch. Don't rush because you think we will get bored and leave. Happy New Year to you, I'm glad your feeling better and I look forward to watching more of you videos and crafting a long with you, as I will be later today when I make this Trifold for myself.

Hey, Martyna you are so talented! You actually were the one who got me into paper crafting! :] I have a little tip for you to create space in journaling. In your spine, if you make a little curved piece you can fill it with pencils or pens, or whatever you need in journaling. I'm not exactly sure how it works, but it looks really good when done well and I think you should try it!

Hi Martyna, I just discovered your channel yesterday and I love it!❤️You are so creative! I learn new techniques while watching you so I find it well worth my time. I also very much appreciate you NOT using background music in your videos. IDK why so many crafters do but it is very distracting. Think about a actual classroom, do teachers ever have background music on? LOL of course not! Not sure why so many people teaching online think it is appropriate. Anyway here's to a great 2021! I look forward to learning a lot from you this year! #Cheers from New York City!🗽

I love this! It was so easy to make. Mine doesn't look like yours, but my granddaughter will love it! Also to us in USA in music that is called a treble clef, which is for soprano, second soprano, and alto. The lower is called base clef for lower register or male voices.😁

@@TealandTattered you're welcome. It was originally meant for string instrument. So your translation is probably correct because the violin is known as the higher instruments of the strings and the cello and base for the lower instruments. I'm drafting my first crafting project for 2021. it will be a lapbook style cover that will hold a journal and printable that I want to keep together. I'm thinking of an elastic for the journal and some file folder style attach to the spine behind the elastic to slide in the printables. I'm still not sure how I want to do for the closure. I just got magnet so that be nice, but I'm afraid that the stuff in it will just slides around. :/ a lot of thinking and planning to do first :)

I love this project too! In regard to the music symbols, the upper (s-shaped) one is called a treble clef and the bottom (resembling a large comma) is called a bass clef. Music on the treble clef line is played usually by the right hand and bass clef line played usually by the left hand (speaking as a piano player!).
