The sad part that even the makers can't figure out while deciding to let these sorta shows go on air is, this so called elite class has no respect for their spouse, irrespective of what gender it's coming from. I have been living in the UK for years, have many native friends, but I have never for once seen someone abusing their partner even when they pull out a joke. The idea of copying west for these trivial women in the show is delusional to a large extent. They need to educate themselves.

Much of american reality shows are entertaining due to ratings and what producers want out of it. So the women in housewives franchise are entertaining and true to their personality. Other American reality shows have concept like a show on overweight people and their journey, toddlers and tiara, teen moms and their journey of being young mothers. So audience get to see people all over the america dealing with their own problems and how different their lives are. Bollywood housewives has nothing, just some women who are not entertaining and have no original personality so audience can at least be interested in these people's lives and who they are. Copy cat of western reality shows is dumbest thing like how does the producer of this show get away with.
