All of these years I never thought about using stencils that way! I was blown away by the idea of putting the ink pad on the stencil like that….pretty piece!

I have distressed ink pads and have never been happy with them. I didn't know you were supposed to spray with water. Your pages are really pretty. Thanks for demonstrating this technique.

They are not good for stamping. They don't give crisp results, they are great to make backgrounds and to colour in stamped images.
