I thoroughly enjoyed this! I knew a lot of these composers, a lot I never heard of. Life was very different when they were living. It was more difficult. Doctors were available for the wealthy, but not the poor. One composer had the ability to move one eye independently of the other eye. Today that could be fixed. I also enjoyed looking to see if these men looked happy or not. No one smiled. Not even with a closed mouth. Thank you for posting this!

Perhap make a remastered version of this video which uses each composer’s most well-known piece as background music, that will be so much better. Fantastic job!

Great idea - play each composer's melodies on piano or use orchestral clips?

Favorite composer -- Prokofiev. This video is quite good, though I would've ranked Stravinsky, Mendelssohn and Debussy a little lower and Rachmaninov somewhat higher. That said, I realize that compiling composers for such a video is extremely difficult--someone will get left out (Martinu) and others may be ranked in places too high or too low to please everyone. Overall though, this is a fine effort.

Beethoven was not rosy skinned. His face had no Germanic features. He was Brown ("coffee with milk") He had Spanish blood. His ancestors came from a Belgian area, occupied for many years by the Spanish. Because of this they nicknamed him "the Spanish". That is in all biographie.
Having been born with crossed eyes, I wonder what my animated eyes would look like. Maybe normal?! (2 surgeries fixed the issue.) That said, the eyes of some of these move independently from each other. As mine still do....The B&W pics are of course more realistic. This concept is interesting!
