Description
This test was conducted to compare the performance of filters made from paper towels. It is these filters that I use in my homemade respirators and masks.
Three different factory masks and a two-layer paper towel filter participated in this experiment.
In the experiment, a machine simulating human sneezing was used. This machine runs on compressed air and provides stable experiment parameters. Air pressure 4 atmospheres. The speed of the airborne stream near the nozzle reaches 80 mph.

Not accurate because a mask is not perfectly affixed to a face like the rubber band is holding each material against the glass tube in your test .

Are all viral particles coated with water saliva droplets? Could there be a few viral particles flying through those masks and of course to small to be seen in video.

Viruses are not viable outside a humid environment. In addition, their mass is so small that it is impossible to give them any high acceleration for flight. Viruses without water droplets would simply be stuck among air minuscules. It would be like shooting a bullet that weighed 0.00001 grams.

woooow. Amazing test. You reminded me that I saw a video about sizes of viruses; it said that the covid-19 virus has an approximate size of 100 nanometers, while it explained that the n 95 masks have 300 nanometers holes! and for the surgeon mask, it has holes of 1000 nanometers! So people is still very vulnerable to it! It is good to know that your invention is better! Why don't you make a test now to compare your invention with n-95 mask. I have as well a third question: What do you think about using cotton instead of paper towels? I saw a video that copied a bit your principles, but he used instead cotton instead of paper towels.

Size of virus is not the same as size of droplets. The virus is tiny but it gets transferred on droplets, which are much bigger.

For a virus, yeah paper towels are really great at stopping the droplets which in turn stops the virus it's carrying. For gas and other stuff, it's a different story, although his invention is great and is easily modifiable to fit either store bought or homemade filters

Covid19 needs to bond to droplets, it doesn't travel alone. Yes covid19 is about 0.1 microns (100 nanometers), BUT average droplet size is about 1 micron (1000 nanometers). So 0.3 micron (300 nanometer) holes is not a problem.

No, this is an ordinary camera. The infrared camera does not show the color of objects.
